Who do you let into your home?

At a viewing, strangers see your rooms, furnishings and everyday life. No reason to worry – but a reason for a clear approach.

Screening

Before the appointment: who is coming?

  • Full name and contact details
  • Reason for buying and timing
  • Financing status – ideally confirmed by the bank

Anyone who avoids these questions does not get an appointment. The exact address is only shared after screening.

Safety

Protecting your home and your data

  • Lock away valuables, cash, medication and personal documents.
  • Give no information about absences, holidays or alarm systems.
  • Photos and videos by visitors only by agreement.
  • Never let visitors walk through the rooms alone.
Preparation

Showing your property at its best

  • Tidy up and reduce personal items.
  • Air the rooms, switch on lights, raise the blinds.
  • Have documents ready: the energy certificate (mandatory at the viewing), floor plans, running costs.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be at home for viewings?

No. Many sellers prefer not to be present so that visitors can speak openly. We accompany every viewing personally.
